Biomass Boilers

Biomass boilers provide heating only or heating + domestic hot water (DHW) through the combustion of organic waste, the most common being pellets, firewood, olive pits and the shells of some nuts.

They require a space for fuel storageThis is known as a silo, which has to be located close to the boiler. The boiler draws in the fuel required for burning according to the energy demand by means of an auger or by suction.
